Murphy
Some of you know my dog Murphy. He is quite a character and is a proud member of our household which means he burps a lot, watches reality tv and loves ice cream and french fries. Well he recently got a hair cut and it is really quite funny. When he first got the hair cut I didn't even have the heart to take his picture because you could tell he was embarrassed. It has grown out a bit and he looks cute now so here is Murph before and after....

Oh no! It doesn't even look my pal the Murph! But he must be reveling in his "summer cut!" I threatened to buzz cut Dudley (even though he is a lab) since it's not easy being a black dog in the Valley. It was over 100 all weekend. We decided against the buzz since his skin beneath the thick black lab coat is pure white -- he'd need spf 50 every day!
We shaved our golden retriever Mabel 2 weekends ago. I swear there is still hair of hers floating through the backyard. I'm also pretty sure her tail is now half as thick as it used to be.
E, the pic of him after the cut made him look like a totally different dog...I'm glad Murph's looking and feeling like normal again. :)
